Got laid off today from the funnest job I’ve ever worked. 23rd is my last day. 3 weeks notice + 1 week severance. Cool, I guess.
Last month I woke up at 5am for work. While I pee’d I thought, “I wonder what Metal Steve is up to?” When I returned to my room there was a facebook message from him. Evidently, he was wondering the same thing.
Last week I was sitting here at work thinking that I should call Skidge. Moments later he walked in the door.
Today I was admiring a neighborhood dog from across the street and was really bothered that I couldn’t remember her name. As I stared at the dog, a car drove by with the name RUBY across the side. oh right, hey ruby.
I’m a bit nostalgic today, I’m also avoiding a conversation I really do not want to have.
